May Visitors

May brought two sets of visitors to our home.  My parents came out to celebrate Grant's first birthday.  It was wonderful to be with my mother on Mother's day again.  The boys had a blast with Grandma and Pop Pop.  We had a lot of quality time just hanging out since it rained the entire time they were here.  Unfortunately, this is the only picture I got of them and the boys:

About two weeks later my sister, Kim and her family came to visit all the way from ENGLAND!  We had lots of fun.  The boys absolutely LOVED being with their cousin and Luke often asks, "Where Anna go?"  We had good weather and got to visit the beach, playground, we even ate out on the deck.  It was so good to have them here even if it was just for a few days.

Drew kept everyone busy building in the sand.

Anna and Grant had fun sharing.

Luke spent much of his time running back and forth between the castle and the water to throw rocks.  And Grant seemed to spend all of his time bolting for the water.

I spent all of my time, chasing him and carrying him away from the water.

I tried my hand at some candid shots of our visitors.

Anna and Luke had to be dragged away from the playground.

Jackson really wanted to celebrate Anna's birthday while she was here.  It was a little early so Kim came up with the fabulous idea to celebrate the first official "Cousins Party" instead.  The kids made their own pizzas, we had a cake with a candle for each cousin and each child opened a small gift.  They had a blast.

Uncle Drew (M.) was shocked and appalled that we didn't have a wireless connection, so he bought us a wireless router AND helped us hook up a new computer.  We are still missing them.  Thanks for coming guys!

Great pictures - it was nice to visit, if only for a few days. And the visit with the Mudgetts looks like a lot of fun. Glad the cousins got to spend time with one another.
