We have a house!

We just got the call that our offer was accepted on the house that we were hoping to get. We are just renting, but it was a close call because there were other offers. It is so relieving to know that we have a place to live - that there is one less thing to do. Here are some pictures:

It is exciting to think that we will have so much more space. The house is 2400 square feet, plus the basement. (Our current house is 1200 square feet with no basement.) There is an angular staircase in the foyer that leads to the four bedrooms. (Stairs, can you believe it! I guess Luke will learn to climb them much faster than Jackson did.) There are 2 1/2 bathrooms, a living room, a family room, a den, a mud room, and a partially finished basement. I will have to figure out what to do about the blue carpet in the living room. (I'm not a fan of it.) The two car garage will be great for snowy mornings. There is a small covered deck in the backyard. We visited the school which is in a great school district. And to think that we will be paying the same amount that our renters will pay for our current house! There is something to say for moving to a place that is in a recession. Soon, Jimmy, Jackson and I won't have to fight over whose turn it is in the bathroom. Of course the house is on Whitehaven Drive, so we are not sure about the welcome our little mixed up family will bring LOL :) Michigan is the land of lakes and we will have lots of space for visitors, so pack your bags!

Here is a link to find out info about the city. (I know that you are SO interested.)

Ok, I can't figure out how to make it a link. So, for those of you who are bored enough, you will have to highlight and copy the address. Sorry.
